Everything you need to know about our exhibition hall in Waasmunster
Every exhibition runs for three months:
- weekdays: guided group visits on demand
- weekend: Saturday afternoon (2 pm – 5 pm) and Sunday (11 am – 5 pm)

Our light-filled exhibition hall is located on a highly historic place where a successful inn used to be established. Although we’ve reconstructed the building, we’ve entirely maintained its unique character and authenticity. That’s why the exterior of the building practically still looks the same as it did in the previous century.
Want to admire fascinating pictures or rather spectacular paintings? Whatever you like. Our exhibited artworks are both modern and classical, are always responding to new themes and are created by local as well as national artists.
Our exhibitions are completely free of charge! This way, we want to make art accessible to everyone and encourage every visitor to De Koolputten to take a look in our exhibition hall in Waasmunster.

Bloot zijn en beginnen
Ilah, Nele, Marloes, Niet Nu Laura and Eva. Five cartoonists who repeatedly show themselves in their drawings. Their lines may differ greatly, but the content of the work is always courageous, vulnerable and witty. Five cartoonists, whose work at the exhitition ‘Bloot zijn en beginnen’ is in conversation with each other. Work that also wants to talk to you, wants to move you and make you smile.
